Reading Recovery Tutors are key people in the implementation of Reading Recovery. They provide year long inservice training courses for Reading Recovery teachers and ongoing professional development sessions, school visits, and consultancy services to Reading Recovery teachers and schools.
Professional training for Reading Recovery Tutors (called Teacher Leaders in USA and Canada) is conducted regularly as a year-long, full-time programme of study at The University of Auckland Faculty of Education.
Graduate Diploma in Education
The University of Auckland Faculty of Education awards a Graduate Diploma in Education Reading Recovery specalization for successful completion of the training programme.
